END OF FYP!!!!!

WHEEEEE!!!

TODAY marks the HAPPIEST day of my life since a v v v long time!

from now till NIE starts, i shall treasure every minute every second of it...

coz i feel like ive graduated... :)

only 2mods which i dun intend to study much.

so im like celebrating n slacking every moment of now tilll i need to start waking up at 5.30am. crap.

the final presentation ended off in a v v v goodnote :)

coz this time round, the panel were v v nice to me.. other than jjvittal who asked me

"you were the one who circulated the literature right?"

crap. hahahha

so i smiled and said "YES"

haha in my mind, i was thinking, must be me thats why u all so nice to me at that v moment coz the head coordinator who was in the panel was in the email loop too!

don't know if it was a good or bad thing that i got ARROWED out by jj

but heck la. its over. haha at least i felt that my email contributed some impact on their niceness this time :)

so there was YAO who so nicely and humbly commented his skeptism in the nicest way possible

and also LEONG W.K who APPRECIATED what i've done :) coz he did some of my expts before and he know all the tough shit ive gone thru..

I'm SO HAPPY... haha n most imptly LEONG spoke up for me when YAO tried his v last skeptism on me in the 15min they kept me in... hahaha

lalalala... they were actualli impressed and yao n leong wanted to "learn" more from me until all the other 3 professors walked out of the room leaving only 2 profs and me...

they asked me so so many things abt my project until they sort of dun haf much break time left coz it ate in to 20min of their supposed breaktime before the next session

and my labmates outside from the other session tho i kena v badly fr them! hahaha quite funny.

ok i'm just elated.

and happy. n glad.

everything ended offf so so wellll!!!

and this is dear karen whom ive gotten so much closer after so many years tho we came from the same sec sch n jc n in chemistry after 3yrs!! :) thanks for all the chitchats n support n help babe! :) it's amazing how we can click so well tho we nv talked much for like near 6-7yrs from knowing each other's existence! hehe

so offff i went snapping some last pics with my beloved labbies above and celebrating the end of FYP with DEFINITELY MAYBE!!! :)

it's a supernice show. the whhole time dianah n i were guessing away who the MUMMY was hahah so fuN! n so touching also with a twist n unexpected ending.... GO WATCH! :)

now i haf a million n one errands to do that ive postponed coz of fyp...
most imptly to fix all my spoilt camera, spoilt hp, go bank and BLOG abt my birthday etc! WOAH! lalallala

stressed and upset

im so not myself today. i screwed up my cells.
after 4days of plating, drugging and adding chemicals over the weekend,
i screwed up and buanged all my hardwork by accidentally mixing the U251 and IMR cells tgth!
i so wanna cry.
there goes my micronucleus assay. hafta replate everything and wait for the stupid slow imr cells to be confluent enuff :( :( :(

im stressed. i have so much analysis to do.
everyday's schedule is packed with plating, drugging, workups, assays, imaging, analysis..
i have no idea how to start my presentation.
i'll b staring at the microscopes analysing my comets and binucleated cells the whole of these two weeks.
i duno what the hell im doing.
nothing chemistry at all.

all's going well and good! :)

everything seems to be going smoothly these days and therefore yours truly is really happy.
i hvent been this happy for q long i think.

I FINALLY GOT MY FIRST NANOPARTICLES... the first batch that is actually SOLUBLE after lyophilising! im so happy. but it's not really the targetted NP that i wanted but well. at least i've seen for myself that the method actually works :)

I also got my water bath order here today! and my cells are growing well.. with no contamination! whheeeeeeee! im proud of myself. but then again. i better not jinx it like last time i told dianah im quite zai to do on my own n next day it got contaminated! choy choy choy!

although ive been staying at lab till late these days.. i'm so glad that becoz of this, i've got to know my labmates better :)

im glad to have known shuzhen so so much more and she's always there to chat with me whenever i have to wait for boring centrifuges and reactions.. :)

and my mentor's getting also quite used to me she's beginning to be a bit tong tong! haha i cant wait for her to bring her kiddy boy next week to schoool coz her maid went back to india! wahahaha.

and today, i found another new mr congeniality in my Lab! :)

he's such a helpful and nice guy... saw me having troubles with smashing up the darn PVP so he helped me cut them all up. wahahaha.

then when i was left all alone in the lab at night :(, he came over to understand my reactions n project and gave me a whole load of ideas and questions that i nv quite paid attention to!! SMARTY PANTS.. research felloww. totally knows what the examiners gona test :)
and he even try thinking of solutions for me :) so so nice! :)

ok i pronounce SIVA (pronounced as SHI-VA) my new idol in lab! wahahaha. he even enthusiastically explained his organic reactions to me.. and HIS MOLECULE is like WOW. ok i shall attempt drawing the backbone. something that looks like this la.. all the aromatic rings n hexane rings with many grps sticking out la! GOSH! my jaws dropped when he drew that. haha.

and he can teach as well as prof suresh i think!!! heeheee..i understood all that he tried to say! :)
my thoughts of India Indians are so beginning to change damn alot. they are really a bunch of NiCe pEoplE!!!

i just love having nice people in my life. they just brighten up my day naturally! LALALALA! wheeee!

and one more great news. yours truly is macam like still on SEP.. after my korea trip in Dec... i'm going WHITEWATER RAFTING with my dear CRYSTAL!!! wahahahhaa. FUN FUN FUN!
which means my FYP gona FLUNK FLUNK FLUNK! so i must WORK WORK WORK now when i can! :) im so excited!

ive been wanting to go since i was in US but didn't have the chance to coz of the bad timing and waters! :( wheeeeee! today's a happy day!

and to my dearest gina, even tho u're not going for the trip,
