enjoying my holidays...

caught madagascar 2 last thurs at the cathay and surprised to find that ASTONS opened a restaurant there!!! the prices were really reasonable for an eatery in town :) comparable to the one at katong n pgp! haha shud go try! :)

on friday, did some ushering for my gesl prof's event at Eng Wah cinema...
fancy being an usher at a cinema compared to ushering at ucc.. hahah a new kind of experience..

then headed over to meet sunder, beng and li-ou! its been ages since i saw li-ou haha cant even remmeber when was the last time coz i nv seemed to have caught him when he came bk from usa last time... nice catching up with all!!! sunder beng n liou!! :) some things nv change..

following monday n tuesday were 2 consecutive days of KTV with the ever-so-free teachers! :)
first was with tianxin, qintian, yining, jinzhan n jiexun @ the 10dollar KTV at chinatown!
my FIRST time there!
for 2-7pm 5 hrs + can bring own food up + free flow of drinks + a bowl of sharks fin thing
all for 10 DOLLARS is super worth it...
the only drawback - we were given an ULU MINI room in the kitchen with a spoilt remote.
so advice - go in big groups so u can get the big big rooms! more comfy n perhaps better system!

then tuesday was @ the usual KBox :) much more comfy but of coz, u pay much more la..
n the stupid kbox website was down so i cudnt check that cineleisure didnt offer kstudent package. TMD. arghs. so no tapas :( sad
but i enjoyed myself so so much over ktv! hahaha nv felt so close to our nus chem ppl till now

n one major discovery -
we the NIE Chem Teachers can SING really well i think! haha
so we should really have a module of KTV songs to train our voice projection instead of the CST podcasting! hahaha ;)

the weekend!

finally met up with long misssed luohanairen who came bk from africa!! :)
and melmel who's flying off sooon
and the ms personality travel kaki bengbeng for kbox!!
havent sang for AGES! haah so glad that we sang so many old songs reminiscing huh

met up next day with the INTERACT BOD (minus tien who's working her ass off in london!)
it's beeen ages since we met and of coz,
we are so glad and happy that ANGKODJOJO finally appeared for the gathering! :)
and of coz, our next meet up in sept will b organised by him..
following which will be the wedding dinner of eunice!!! woah! so exciting!!
wedding dinners are totally coming our way one by one with age! gosh!

next at night was the west coast grc national day dinner my aunt asked meto go for!
my family all at NDP preview coz the tix from my bro who's there for army! arghs

anyway, it's quite the BEST national day dinner ive went to comparing the so many other previous years..
i guess it's coz of the MC.. he's really goood and can sing chinese, english, canto songs all so welll..
can rouse the crowd, dance, play along, speak teochew..really good!

surprisingly, i enjoyed the dinner superbly! so did my lovely cousins above and my aunts n uncles! :)

joi chua cai chunjia came to sing 3 songs too! haahh first time i held a camera busy taking pictures of an artiste.. hahah so this is how it was like to go "crazy" under the stage while the artiste is performing. hahaha.
i didnt quite enjoy la.. hahaha.. im still sane.. haha

and lastly, to end of with the singing of national day songs with mp s iswaran, joi chua etc!
love this pic taken with my panoramic hp camera! heeheee.. lovely! :)

ending off with a picture with the mC.. all coz of my aunt la.. who bluffed him said that we wanted a picture with him. haha. oh well. don't ask me why we are all bending down. we look damn spas. maybe coz my aunt's short la. hehe.

oh and i cant believe our TABLE WON THE 1st PRIZE in the lucky draw! $4000 bucks massage chair! haha to bad it wasnt me but this other auntie of ours!!! hahah but it was still super fun coz it's US who took away the FIRST PRIZE!! how hard is that to win a lucky draw amongst 3000 people at the dinner! woah!

anyhow, im feeling patriotic and all nationalday-ish!! :)
i wanna go for ndp tooooo! next year i shall make myself REMEMBER to ballot for tix! heh
