last of cny

had the last of cny during the last weekend...

with a stayover in my uncle's house in Msia on Saturday..

(my first time there and first time to msia via car)

i had my FIRST setting off of FIRE CRACKERS over there which i missed out last year!!!

shot mini fireworks into the sky and crackled the explosive loud long traditional bright red firecrackers that woke the whole neighbourhood up i think! hahah

whhEeeee SO FUN!! so exciting coz it's my first time la..

i think after a few more times it'd be like noise pollution coz they just go off so loud and deafening to the ears! haha

got spinning colourful lighted crackers.. soccer ball looking mini bombs.. canon sticks that shoot mini fireworks into the sky.. hahahha :)

had a whole night of CRANIUM family edition! i suddenly feel like going settler's or minds cafe to play more games. haha.

and rounded up the CNY with a visit to LUOHAN AIREN's house! :)

thanks to luohan's mama who was SO COMICAL coz she leaked out the "surprise" by kept asking us when we're gonna CUT CAKE for xian n huiyi - the feb babies.

oh well. no surprise! :(

but it was still a yummilicious cake and a great time of huiyi's fav name game,

and beng's Texas Holdem pokeR.. and taught them the newly invented JAcKpOt game by my cuzzies! hahaha that's the most boliaO game ever but u must admit it's hilariouS n super fun k!! created the most laughter one lor!!!

we watched STEP UP on DVD thanks to caro! i watched that in US and now i can't wait for STEP UP 2 to come on screen! :) wheeee!

and now

after CNY,

life will be back to stagnancy (is there such a word?? haha)

but im glad to have such peacefulness and equilibrium.

serious, other than labbing. nothing much can bring so much ups and downs in my life now.

and the contradiction. yadah yadah.

im so sick of thinking abt fyp, answering abt fyp and getting miserable over fyp and sad over this period

and i'm having pre-grad jitters.

i wanna stay in NUS but i dun want fyp!! sigh

DAy 3 of CnY

was visiting to XiaN's housE! hehe
her red red ang ang wall. wah piangs. no choice had to take picture with it! hehe
us photowhoring away.. and me trying to create cny mood by gongxi-ing but they nv respond. damn sad :( but i missss caro alot! and of coz, thanks my date for the invitation and jiemei's mummy for coooking SO MUCH YUMMY good foood.

u know what i learnt abt the recipe of cooking yumilicious food?
everything put WINE or XO etc. makes the food taste so much bettter!
even my most hated pig's liver was delicious! :) my first ever try to eat SO MUCH liver! haha





then biaojie jioed my bro and i to go watch AH LoNg before congregation at xiaogu's hse!

wah the msian chinese drive me MAD man.. i can't take their accent seriously. but he's damn good at imitating!

and mark lee can totally succeed xie shaoguang in acting gay. he ROCKS man. hahaha
the show was SUPER hilarious.
i think its funnier than 881!
and less lame than 881 tho the storyline also abit off! hahah but not bad la. if u haf too much time to spare and want some laugh (provided u understand dialect)



TUESDAY was PriSciLLa's biRthDay!!! :)

happy 23rd birthday girly! had our usual chem gang celebration and presentation of a well thought lovely gift! - sexy lingerie from la senza! hahahha
cud see that her hubby, bran was more happy n excited than her over the gift la! FIRST TIME he kept so quite and all RED like tomato! hahhaha waiting for gina's PICTUREs now! haha


WEDNESDAY
was a little dinner with abeli! last minute with some nasty hiccups in the day coz of lab but it was a great break from shittiness! i really missed the ikea meatballs. and thank u for the treat bro! :) nice catching up!


and TODAY's VALENTINE's DAY!
so i fulfilled my date with sokchin to watch...


it was a sobby show. i teared from scene one to the end.
so touching. so sad. so loving.

abit impossible to have such a sweeet guy.. but im glad i watched the show. it made me realise what i exactly want. esp after some bad news that i recently got hold of that hit me down quite abit.. i suddenly realise that i deserve better. back to the dream come true and dreamy self of mine in search of my prince charming on a white horse! hahaha but this time round, my eyes will be bigger and sharper and more accurate! hahaha

and as the mum said in the show,
something like it's not easy being alone.. but with other people who are alone too, we're all in it together! :) somehow it resonates with me the most in the show i guesss. so my dear frens who are still in search of the one, we can hang out together! just give me a ring! hahaha

BUT that's NOT the best part of the show.

TONIGHT is a MEMORABLE NIGHT.
coz it's me n my date's FIRST TIME STEPPING into THE WRONG THEATRE
and MADE A FOOL of ourselves!!!!
GOSH
caused the people whom we took their seats to make a commotion.
double checking our seats and got irritated by the people who made the commotion thinking they are in the wrong...

and u noe what's worse. there were SO MANY SIGNALS before that telling us SOMETHING was wrong n yet we chose to ignore. 2 dumb asses.
hahahh hilarious.

almost the whole theatre KNEW we were in the wrong show coz it was SO QUIET.. the show was abt to start and it was only then we realised how stupid we were..

and they all heard our "FREAK WRONG THEATRE" and sc's 4 letter word! hahaha
AND WE went out EMBARASSED with giggles and laughters! wa kaoz!
summore it was a cheenapok show KUNGFU DUNK

heng the theatre was DARK so people can't see our faces.

finally got back the mood to blog. been so caught up with celebrations and shows and not enuff sleep and sch..

backdate abit to last monday.. when i went chinatown with my date, xian! i really love our yearly trips there :) i'll always remember how we slogged our lives out at chinatown square! haha





the most unforgettable part of this yrs trip was the chikopeh who videoed me at busstop!

thank god i had the malay& indian guys to "save" me man.. *phew* scary! even tho i already dressed quite suibian n covered up to chinatown, guess i hafta be more song looking for next yr's trip!

i simply love the dong dong qiang mood in chinatown n the decor! hehe i love CNY! yippee! :) but so sad, so fast 4days of real holiday over liao!!! :(


then tuesday, i had my very first dinner date with stella!
memorable. must write down so that i can remember :) stella is one of my rare nus friends who survived and experienced SEP n hawaii n being stranded at disneyland with me and i just have a million and one things to talk about with her! :) love u babe! :) and share the same joy of online shopping with me! muahahahha


then wednesday,

after lunching with ELLY and dianah after lab...

the long awaited reunion dinner!
our self made yearly lao yusheng! and gambling! hehehe



then DAY 1 & 2 of CNY!!
my family! (i hate all the fotos i took. i look damn fat! serene i regret buying the dresss! *sobs*)




so sad didnt take any pictures with my cousins!!! arghs! oh welll. duno why also. too busy mahjonging n blackjacking i guess. HAHA



i love this cute little distant cousin i have! she's SO BUBBLY and CUTE and HIAO and loves to pose in photos! (not in this picture. she shy la) she totally reminds me of MYSELF when i was YOUNG like her! hahahha oops

i love CNY! bahkwa. pineapple tarts. shrimp crackers. cuttlefish. HEAVEN! slack and watch tv whole day.

get angbaos. muahahahha. count money. play mahjong.

last thurs.. we went over to xianrong's house to cook lunch! :) or rather, he cooked for us! :) xianrong is now our RESIDENT CHEF! he's ZAI ok! dun pray pray ah! heeheee..

he cooks well leH! YUMMY fooood! :)

this is CHIEF COOK happily prepping n tasting for his PERFECT dish! :)

and yaolong n zijia busy trying to cook mapo tofu with our mapo sauce bought from asian market! tadah! our mapo tofu and xianrong's yummy spicy chicken+potato+goldenmushroom :) after that was a few games of bridge and daidee b4 heading home! :)

STEAMBOAT and LOU HEI (lao yusheng)

us prepping all the fooood!!! yaolong was such a perfectionist and his only joy was to present the food so prettily for foto taking! hahaha

look at the AMOUNT of food we had to FOUR PEOPLE!!! enuf to feed army trooop!

from top left: prawns, crabmeat, fishball, fish slice, pork slice, tofu, shrimp wanton, chicken, golden mushroom, brinjal (cooked), cabbage finally, our MA LA HUO GUO (hot spicy steamboat) and the WHOLE TABLE of dishes!

after we've all washed up and played a few games of daidee and bridge overnight, we started out LOUHEI!!! :) in the middle of the night la!! hahahaa.. i tink it was 2.30am!! hahahaha..

ingredients: carrot strips, white radish strips (self stripped), self crushed peanuts, lee kum kee orange sauce, jellyfish and SALMON!

it was the most unforgettable lao yusheng! so late! and we were trying so hard not to make too much noise so that we wun wake our landlord and aptmate up! :)
super duper fun!!! hehee.. and not forgetting.. RED WINE!! :) wooohooo! :)

wunderful new year experience.. tho i really miss my family and relatives and being there with them gambling n drinking away!! :(

but nonetheless, it was a SPECIAL CNY coz I webcammed with SO MANY OF MY relatives!! and had the RECEIVE ANGPAO trick over webcam!!! hahaha..

it was HILARIOUS! my uncles n aunties pass angpao into the webcam over their side and i RECEIVE it over my side (coz i have angpaos with me) hahaha..

and im happy coz my aunts n uncles left their angpaos with my MUM!! muahahahaha... :) :) :)

I LOVE MY BIG FAMILY AND RELATIVESSS!!! they are a great loving funky bunch! i missss homeee!!! :( :(
